They were conceived out of a desire to provide flexible grants that meet IRS charitable standards and have been widely applauded for their impact on chapters and undergraduate Phi Psis.
OneFunds allow chapter alumni to support their chapter while empowering local alumni volunteers to control how funds are being used to strengthen the future of the chapter from year to year. Grants from OneFunds are restricted to a specific chapter and can be used to fund academic or need-based scholarships, character and leadership development programs, alcohol abuse prevention programs, and often times specific operating expenses incurred by the House Corporations that operate and manage chapter facilities. Chapter OneFunds are the simplest and most flexible way to charitably support a chapter.Ĭhapter OneFunds (COF) are chapter-specific funds created to allow alumni and friends of a chapter to maximize charitable giving opportunities that benefit undergraduates.
